Excited: Kathy Griffin

Ever since I used to watch Suddenly Susan, I have always been a big fan of Kathy Griffin. She is just down-right hilarious!

Now, I will admit that I have only seen a few episodes of Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List. It just seemed like I never knew when it was airing. But now, I have my TiVo set for this season & I am going to buy Season 1 on DVD.

And it is funny; she seems to be everywhere, right now. I see her in print, on TV and even at events I have attended, such as being the headliner for the pre-party of the main event of One Mighty Weekend. All I have to say to that is she must have one awesome publicist.

Unfortunately I was only able to watch the last few minutes of Kathy Griffin's stand-up at the One Mighty Party Pre-Party due to following the majority vote of the group, you can imagine my excitement to find out she was stopping in Phoenix on her tour.

Rich and I have tickets to see her at the Dodge Theatre, this Saturday. Now, I have not been to many live performances: a couple of concerts, a few musicals and one opera. This is going to be my first time seeing a comedy act in person. I just hope I haven't ruined it for myself, since I just watched her televised act the other day. Maybe not though, she seems like the type of comedian that changes her set every time she is on stage.
